Update; Nigerian Student who was Reported Missing in Ukraine, Found Dead

Caleb was reported missing after he was invited to a party on a boat by Vera Topalova, owner of a BDSM-themed bar in Odesa. While at the party, he reportedly went on a boat ride with about 10 passengers but didn’t return with them, only his personal belongings including a mobile phone, were given to his friend without any explanation as to what had happened.

Caleb’s disappearance led to a social media outcry seeking justice and a protest was held near the Nigerian Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv on Aug 31.
